About me

My name is Łukasz Wątor. I've been programming professionally since 2013. Since 2021 I've run my own company, and ThorSoft is its brand.

I work with TypeScript and React on the frontend (I build company websites with Next.js) and with Node.js and Python on the backend, most often on AWS. I have worked in teams building systems for, among others, Sky (television and streaming), hayu (NBCUniversal's streaming service), Wärtsilä (marine and energy technology), RTS (intercom systems for broadcast production) and Bird Control Group (IoT devices).

I built my first neural networks at university and have worked on my own models regularly since 2024, mainly on time series. The company is based in Gdańsk, Poland.
